How NewBizLeads Got Started

I was helping a local tax prep office when I noticed a few brand-new businesses opening their doors around town.

My first thought? "If we welcome them with a simple letter, they'll likely become customers."

But the problems stacked up fast:

• Doing it manually is slow and local-only.
• Generic postcard services are expensive.
• New businesses rarely have websites—so email isn't an option yet.
• Purchased lists are pricey and often inaccurate for brand-new registrations.

So I dug into public records of newly registered businesses. That's when it clicked:
What if I could capture every new business as soon as it appears and make it dead-simple to reach them first?

I built a dashboard for myself—fresh leads, local filters—and added the ability to send letters directly from the app. Then I realized: this isn't just for me. It can help a lot of businesses be first.

Today, NewBizLeads is live and helping businesses connect with their newest neighbors. We're building fast—postcards, QR codes, and Figma design integrations are on the way.
